A Town Called Victoria - Title
I got the opportunity to create some frames for the intro to the documentary A Town Called Victoria, about the tragic burning of a mosque in the town of Victoria, TX and the challenges the people in this town faced thereafter.
The concept shows the crossovers between muslim symbolisms and American symbolisms, and how they can coexist in the same world. As the sequence progresses, fire and smoke start to take over the motifs. As tension rises, we start to see protestors, ultimately culminating in a complete takeover of the fire and smoke - revealing the title lock up.
