Jack Ryan Season 2 Main Titles
I designed some frames and collaborated with the team at Imaginary Forces, led by Karin Fong, to come up with the opening titles for Jack Ryan S2.
We played around with the idea of the main character’s dual-persona/dual-lifestyle. Always going back and forward between the civilian life and his military life, through a data base of visually similar images that linked one side of his life to the other.

For Jack Ryan Season 2 the focus was evident from the start: a sequence that would become a portrait of the main character. We had two related but different storyboard concepts that then merged into the final piece. The first one we called Duality, expressed through split screen images. The second board we called “pattern recognition,” as if a supercomputer was pulling up all Jack’s data, and trying to make sense of it. This was really cool for us, not only could we delve into Season One, but also the history of the character that has existed through numerous Tom Clancy books and feature films. We hope you enjoy it.
